Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain premium commercial kitchen and bakery equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have strong electrical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission commercial kitchen and bakery equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in ovens, bakery machines, dishwashers, mixers, refrigeration equipment, and other food service equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Check electrical components including wiring, switches, relays, contactors, heating elements, sensors, motors, and control panels.
- Test equipment after repair to ensure safe and proper operation.
- Maintain service reports and customer visit records.
- Coordinate with the service manager regarding spare parts and technical support.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards.
- Educate customers on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Travel to customer locations for installation, service, and emergency breakdown calls.
Required Qualifications
- ITI (Electrician) / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in electrical service or maintenance.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
- Experience using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and other electrical testing tools.
- Knowledge of motors, heating elements, temperature controllers, timers, relays, contactors, sensors, and PLC basics is an added advantage.
- Basic computer and mobile application skills for service reporting.

Experience servicing any of the following equipment is an advantage:

Requirements
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across Salem and nearby districts.
- Ability to work on-site and respond to emergency service calls when required.
Salary
₹18,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience and technical skills)
