Seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This role involves collaborating with owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop architectural plans that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements. The Architect will play a crucial role in ensuring that designs are visually appealing but also practical and sustainable.
Duties
- Draft detailed architectural plans using Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes.
- Conduct project scheduling to ensure timely completion of all phases of the design and construction process.
- Prepare budgets for projects, considering materials, labor, and other costs involved in construction.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms for materials and services.
- Coordinate with engineers to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into architectural plans.
- Use public records to research trends in single family home design
Skills
- Proficiency in Revit for drafting detailed architectural plans.
- Strong budgeting skills to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects.
- Experience in project scheduling to manage timelines effectively.
- Ability to utilize publicly available information to report on market conditions and design requirements
- Ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers to achieve project goals.
