Molding Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining plastic injection molding machines to produce plastic parts and components. The duties may include setting up molds, controlling machines, monitoring and adjusting production, inspecting products, and troubleshooting problems. The Molding Operator must be knowledgeable of injection molding processes and quality control standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Start, stop, and tend to automated or semi-automated moulding machines (e.g., injection, blow, or compression moulding presses).
- Parameter Adjustment: Set and regulate pressure, temperature, cycle times, and speed controls as dictated by product blueprints or technical documents.
- Quality Control: Visually inspect parts and use precision measuring instruments to check for defects or dimensional inaccuracies.
- Material Handling & Prep: Load raw materials (e.g., plastic resins) into hoppers, trim excess material from finished parts, and prepare products for packaging.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine cleaning, clear minor jams, and report major mechanical malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Documentation: Log daily production numbers, cycle times, and instances of scrap or downtime.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
