Role Description
The Sr. Process Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Calamba. This role is responsible for designing and optimizing Water Treatment Plant mainly RO System, Softener/Demin System, Ultrafiltration System, UPW, Ultra Pure DI System processes, including developing process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and detailed engineering calculations. The Sr. Process Design Engineer collaborates with project, operations, and sales teams to translate client requirements into robust process designs, prepare technical proposals, and support system commissioning and performance validation. Daily activities include reviewing design standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers. The role also involves continuous improvement of existing treatment systems, troubleshooting process issues, and contributing to innovation in water treatment technologies.
Qualifications
- A graduate of bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (Passed Board/Professional Licensure Exam).
- Must have at least 5-7 years of work-related experience in water and wastewater treatment field
- Preferably with Masteral Degree
- Strong foundation in Process Design and Process Engineering for Water Treatment Plant mainly RO System, Softener/Demin System, Ultrafiltration System, UPW, Ultra Pure DI Systems
- Proficient in performing detailed engineering Calculations and applying Chemical Engineering principles in industrial water treatment applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to design work.
- Has relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Analyst/Quality Control
- Sharp and spontaneous in spotting technical and operational issues of water-based treatment systems
- Ability to "think outside the box", see situations at hand at different angles.
- A creative thinker who can provide new ideas.
- Alertness to likely future events in order to anticipate their consequences.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and has an accommodating and proactive attitude.
- Ability to inspect and identify engineering issues of water treatment systems of clients
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients.
- Can work under pressure
- Must be willing to relocate in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines
Pay: ₹191,775.20 - ₹287,662.80 per month
