Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and income tax compliance, along with experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting. The candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting activities independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime/ERP software.
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions and prepare vouchers.
- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, debtors, creditors, and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, reconciliation, and related workings.
- Prepare TDS calculations, returns, and ensure timely compliance.
- Assist in Income Tax Return preparation and tax computations.
- Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with clients, banks, auditors, and government departments whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- CA Inter (Pursuing/Qualified) will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a CA firm or corporate accounting profile.
- Experience in ROC compliance or payroll processing will be an added advantage.
