About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and relationship-oriented Business Development Officer to lead CSR and institutional fundraising efforts. The role involves identifying funding opportunities, building partnerships with corporates and foundations, preparing compelling proposals, and supporting the implementation and reporting of funded programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build a pipeline of CSR and institutional funding opportunities.
- Develop relationships with CSR heads, corporate leaders, foundations, and philanthropic organisations.
- Prepare grant proposals, concept notes, presentations, and partnership decks.
- Support grant applications and respond to funding opportunities.
- Represent TAARA at CSR forums, networking events, and stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate with programme teams to support successful implementation of funded projects.
- Prepare donor reports, impact updates, and documentation.
- Maintain a CRM of prospects, partners, and fundraising activities.
- Work towards fundraising and partnership targets.
Qualifications & Skills
- 0–3 years of experience in CSR, fundraising, business development, programme management, or stakeholder engagement.
- Internship or project experience in proposal writing, donor engagement, or corporate outreach is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Hindi is a plus).
- Excellent research, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of India's CSR ecosystem and the Companies Act (Section 135) is desirable.
- Graduates from TISS, Azim Premji University, IRMA, and other leading social sector institutions are encouraged to apply.
