Project Overview:
A major digital platform is being launched by a government agency to improve citizen access to housing-related services. Beyond scheme applications and grievance redressal, the platform also aims to provide value-added benefits to new homebuyers and existing residents, including exclusive merchant deals, bundled services, and post-allotment support.
Role Overview:
The Merchant Manager will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing partnerships with merchants and service providers who can offer relevant products and services to platform users. These may include white goods, home appliances, health insurance, home services, financial offerings, and other essentials that enhance the value proposition for newly allotted citizens and long-term residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchant & Vendor Sourcing
- Identify merchants and service providers offering relevant products/services (e.g., electronics, furniture, insurance, utility services) for new homeowners and resident beneficiaries.
- Curate packages and exclusive citizen offers such as “Home Starter Kits” or post-allotment essentials.
Bulk Deal Structuring
- Negotiate exclusive citizen benefits including bulk discounts, zero-cost EMI plans, bundled deals, and warranty-based value-adds.
- Integrate vendor offerings into the digital platform (app/portal) in collaboration with the technical team.
Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong merchant/vendor relationships with consistent quality monitoring.
- Collect user feedback on partner offerings and continuously improve the service portfolio.
- Explore opportunities for introducing new categories and seasonal tie-ups.
Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain dashboards on partner performance, offer uptake, and redemption rates.
- Share insights with the content and communication teams to promote merchant deals effectively.
- Ensure full documentation, reporting compliance, and transparency.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
