- Influence automation strategy and advocate for quality-focused engineering practices at the team and organizational level.
CI/CD Integration and DevOps
- Maintain and support automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines, with a primary focus on GitLab CI.
- Support automated execution across development, validation (VAL), UAT, and production environments.
- Analyze pipeline failures and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and drive resolution.
- Contribute to continuous testing strategies that improve release confidence and reduce deployment risk.
- Integrate automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where appropriate, ensuring performance regressions are identified early in the development lifecycle.
- Monitor performance trends across releases and report significant deviations from established baselines.
Quality, Validation, and Compliance
- Ensure all automation activities comply with applicable GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV, and SDLC validation requirements.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements, user stories, automated test cases, and execution results.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring validation evidence is complete, accurate, and inspection-ready.
- Adhere to established SOPs, SDLC standards, and coding conventions.
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate automation effectiveness and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, coverage, and reliability.
- Establish and maintain performance baselines, identifying opportunities to improve application responsiveness, scalability, and reliability.
- Apply risk-based testing principles to prioritize automation investments against release timelines.
- Drive improvement initiatives related to automation frameworks, tooling, and quality engineering practices.
- Stay current with advances in Playwright, TypeScript, and testing technology; bring relevant innovations back to the team.
