Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage production staff, coordinate manpower, and maintain discipline and productivity on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure timely completion of work.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to production schedules.
- Lead, motivate, and manage production workers to achieve productivity targets.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, shift allocation, and overall workforce performance.
- Ensure optimum utilization of labour, machinery, and materials.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
- Monitor production output and minimize downtime and wastage.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Resolve shop floor issues, labour concerns, and operational challenges promptly.
- Train new employees and provide continuous guidance to production staff.
- Prepare daily production reports, manpower reports, and shift reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Advertising or Event sector experience also be considered.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supervising production teams and labour management.
- Experience in handling contract labour and workforce planning is preferred.
