As a Billing Engineer, you will have to Audits & Cross Verification of Bills and quantity surveying, preparing bills for payments, estimating quantities, order of materials for construction and analysis of rates of Non BOQ items etc.
- Engineering Degree in Civil with at least 3+ year’s relevant experience in Timely Estimating & Billing, preferably from a real estate / Infrastructure industry.
- Knowledge of Billing with high rise residential building Item rate, AutoCAD, Preparing BBS, Quantity, Material Reconciliation, Subcontractors Billing, Knowledge of ERP and must have good Knowledge of Excel.
- Master’s degree in Building Construction Management or Civil.
- Planning and scheduling of civil works that involves management of Equipment, Building Materials and Labour etc.
- To review and generate Bill of Quantities against drawings to identify various work items, their quantities, material types etc.
- Inspecting the work as per architectural & structural drawing and maintaining the record of inspection.
- Timely Estimating & Billing, Excellent knowledge of BBS and rate analysis
- Record of executed work i.e. reports after execution, daily progress report.
- Checking of Bills of civil works raised in measurement books in accordance with the provisions laid down in relevant IS Codes, CPWD specifications etc.
- Analysing the rates of work items, taking off quantities, Evaluation of consumption of materials for preparing work orders.
- Holding meetings with other departments such as Architecture and Services for reviewing drawings and designs and incorporate the necessary changes as desired by the higher management.
- To lay down specifications for various work items (CIVIL), material etc. and there by submission to contractors for inviting Quotations.
- Holding meetings with contractors for negotiating and finalizing rates for civil works.
- Regular site visits and rigorous involvement in the activities related to Quality Assurance & Quality Control.
- Assessment of work order progress and generating progress reports for quarterly Presentations.
- Providing technical support to junior engineers and addressing the problems of other technical staff engaged at sites.
- Preparation of Rate Analysis of various work items.
- Carrying out Billing Audit on the site to identify & rectify any deviation in the SOP/Process.
- Ensure all Bills are certified in timely manner and as per instruction of Engineer-In- charge of the Project and as per contractual obligations.
- Coordinating with internal & External Billing audits.
- Preparation B.O.M of all items
- Ensuring PF/ESI/Taxation Compliance by all the Contractors
