Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, empathetic, and highly communicative Admission Counsellor to be the first point of contact for prospective students at ByteBlaze Technologies. In this role, your words will matter — every conversation you have could change someone's career path. You will guide students and parents through our programs, address their queries, and help them make informed enrollment decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents about ByteBlaze's training programs, courses, fees, and career outcomes
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, walk-ins, emails, and WhatsApp inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Understand each student's background, interests, and career goals to recommend the most suitable program
- Convert leads into enrollments through effective communication, follow-ups, and relationship building
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and enrollment data in CRM or Excel
- Meet monthly admission targets while maintaining a high standard of student experience
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding of new students
- Conduct campus tours and orientation sessions for walk-in students and parents
- Follow up regularly with interested but undecided students to address concerns and objections
- Represent ByteBlaze at education fairs, school/college visits, and community outreach events when required
- Collect and share feedback from students to help improve counselling processes and program offerings
- Build long-term relationships with students to encourage referrals and positive word-of-mouth
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification is Graduation — a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline is mandatory. A background in Education, Psychology, Mass Communication, or Business Administration is an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Admission Counselling, Academic Counselling, EdTech Sales, or a customer-facing role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi — this is non-negotiable
- Strong active listening skills — ability to understand student concerns, read between the lines, and respond with empathy and clarity
- Confidence to initiate conversations, handle objections calmly, and persuade without being pushy
- Ability to communicate complex program details in a simple, engaging, and relatable manner
- Pleasing personality with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help students succeed
- Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage a high volume of leads without losing the personal touch
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools
- Ability to work under targets in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality interactions

- Prior experience in an EdTech company, coaching institute, or training center
- Experience handling digital leads from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Google Ads
- Basic understanding of social media and digital marketing concepts
- Knowledge of student psychology and career guidance principles

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹11,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and communication skills)
