Job Summary
Sri Lakshmi Transport Services is hiring a Bus Transport Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our bus transport division. The candidate will be responsible for fleet operations, driver and conductor management, vehicle deployment, route planning, maintenance coordination, operational efficiency, and ensuring safe and timely transport services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the bus transport division.
- Supervise and coordinate drivers, conductors, and transport staff.
- Plan and monitor vehicle deployment and route scheduling.
- Ensure maximum fleet utilization and timely operations.
- Coordinate with the workshop for preventive maintenance and vehicle breakdown support.
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, trip sheets, and operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with RTO regulations, permits, insurance, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain driver and conductor attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Handle driver and conductor-related operational issues and grievances.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Coordinate with Workshop, Accounts, HR, and Management for smooth operations.
- Ensure road safety and compliance with company policies.
- Support driver and conductor duties whenever operational requirements demand.
Eligibility
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Logistics, Transport Management, or any relevant discipline.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in Bus Transport Operations may apply.
- Experience in managing bus operations is preferred.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, GPS tracking, and transport documentation.
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence will be an added advantage.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹20,000 per month (Fixed)
- Performance Incentives (Based on his performance and Company Policy)
Working Conditions
- No fixed working hours. The candidate should be flexible to meet operational requirements.
- Weekly Off: No fixed Sunday holiday. Weekly off will be provided as per operational requirements and management policy.
- Must be willing to travel and support operations whenever required.
