Production Engineer / Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager
Location: Sanand, Gujarat
Industry: Chemical Process Equipment-Heavy Engineering / Engineering Solutions
Experience: Minimum 2 Years in Similar Field
Key Responsibilities:
- Shop Floor Management: Supervise day-to-day fabrication of custom process equipment (heat exchangers, columns, reactors, pressure vessels, steam condensers).
- Manpower Handling: Manage multi-shift shop floor operations, leading 20 to 50 workmen per shift.
- Technical Execution: Monitor welding (SMAW, GTAW, and SAW), rolling, machining, assembly, and testing activities.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure production aligns with approved engineering drawings, QAP/ITP, and project schedules. Implement 5S and lean practices.
- Coordination: Work closely with Design, QC, and Stores for smooth material flow.
Technical Requirements:
- Robust experience in heavy fabrication and ASME-coded equipment.
- Ability to accurately read/interpret complex engineering drawings and P&IDs.
- Preferred Plusses: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI/CSWIP) or NDT Level II qualification.
