Job Title AWS Cloud / DEVOPS Engineer Job Description As part of the End to End Digital Customer Relationships, Installed base tracking has become one of the key pillar to grow drastically Services revenues: both field services and digital services. Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud / DEVOPS Engineer to join our Installed Base Team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding and hands-on experience with building, deploying and maintaining Backend services and data flows using IaC tools such as Serverless, Terraform and deploying CICD pipelines using Github Actions. You will play a crucial role in deploying applications and infrastructure, ensuring they’re secure, reliable and scalable. Schneider Installed base (IB) is the central data platform where all the product asset data that we track is collected, qualified, consolidated and exposed. Under AWS Tech Lead & Tracking Delivery Lead, The AWS Cloud / DEVOPS Engineer is a key team member of installed base custom development team, its role is to: Write and maintain Infrastrucrue as Code templates for Api Gateway, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Elasticache, SQS ..Etc using Serverless and Terraform Develop CICD pipeline for code change management between environments, using Github Actions Integrating security tools such as SonarQube, Coverity ..etc Artifact management using JFrog Ensure the infrastructure deployed is secure, durable, reliable, highly available and scalable Collaborate with the software / data engineers to get the requirements, document the resources and and strategies in confluence and resolve incidents reported in JIRA Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AWS cloud technologies and trends to recommend process improvements and technology upgrades. Participate in architecture review board meetings and make strategic recommendations for choice of services. Qualifications 3-5 years’ experience working with AWS as a Cloud/DEVOPS Engineer or a similar role Master’s degree in computer science with a focus on Cloud/Software Engineering or equivalent (Or Bachelor with more years of XP) Mandatory experience with Terraform and CICD with Github Actions Experience with Serverless Framework is appreciated Proficiency in deploying and maintaining AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Elasticache ...etc Knowledge about the general purpose services of AWS such as IAM roles, Security Groups, Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB or DynamoDB) Experience with CloudFormation is a plus. Excellent collaboration skills. A desire for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies. Skills Due to the nature of this position sitting on a global team, fluent English communication skills (written & spoken) is required Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and convince at various levels of the organization, and in a multicultural environment.
