Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-driven District Manager to oversee field operations and ensure the smooth functioning of transportation services within the assigned district. The role involves managing daily operations, fleet maintenance coordination, fuel monitoring, compliance, reporting, and team supervision to ensure operational excellence and service quality.
Key Responsibilities1. Field Operations
- Conduct regular block visits to monitor field activities and operational performance.
- Ensure smooth execution of daily transportation operations within the assigned district.
- Coordinate with field staff to resolve operational issues promptly.
2. Operations Management
- Ensure adherence to approved schedules and operational plans.
- Monitor service delivery and minimize operational disruptions.
- Improve operational efficiency and productivity.
3. Maintenance Coordination
- Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Reduce vehicle downtime through timely repairs and inspections.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and available for operations.
4. Fuel Management
- Monitor fuel consumption and improve fuel efficiency (KM/Litre).
- Maintain fuel records and prevent misuse or pilferage.
- Ensure compliance with fuel management procedures.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports on time.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance, and field activities.
- Ensure timely escalation of operational issues.
6. Team Management
- Supervise field staff, drivers, and support personnel.
- Allocate work effectively and monitor staff performance.
- Ensure discipline, motivation, and productivity of the team.
7. Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in internal audits and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain operational quality standards across the assigned district.

Required Skills

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, transportation, logistics, fleet management, or field operations.
- Experience in handling field teams, operational reporting, and maintenance coordination.
- Familiarity with district-level operations and stakeholder coordination will be an added advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹31,000.00 per month
