Role Overview:
The Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risk. This role is critical in ensuring financial stability, optimizing working capital, and supporting business operations through efficient treasury practices.
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity for operations
➢ Forecast short-term and long-term cash flow requirements
➢ Optimize working capital and manage fund transfers
➢ Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions
➢ Negotiate banking facilities, credit lines, and loan agreements
➢ Ensure compliance with banking covenants and reporting requirements
➢ Identify and mitigate financial risks (currency, interest rate, credit risks)
➢ Implement hedging strategies where applicable
➢ Monitor exposure to foreign exchange fluctuations, especially for imports/exports
➢ Oversee treasury systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy
➢ Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
➢ Manage investment of surplus funds in line with company policy
➢ Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and sales teams for alignment
➢ Prepare treasury MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations
➢ Maintain treasury-related documentation and audit support
Requirements:
➢ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
➢ MBA (Finance) or CA preferred
➢ 7–10 years of treasury/finance experience with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
➢ Strong knowledge of cash management, banking products, and financial instruments
➢ Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
➢ Proficiency in ERP systems and treasury management tools
➢ Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
➢ Experience in managing forex transactions and hedging
➢ Strong understanding of working capital management
➢ Ability to build banking relationships and negotiate effectively
➢ Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
