About the Role
Shree Bafna Public School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused PGT Humanities teacher to teach History, Political Science, and Sociology at the senior secondary level. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and social awareness among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach History, Political Science, and Sociology to senior secondary classes as per curriculum requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct engaging classroom sessions using innovative teaching methodologies.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations where applicable.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Organize debates, seminars, quizzes, projects, and other co-curricular activities related to Humanities.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Stay updated with educational trends and subject developments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree in History, Political Science, Sociology, or a related Humanities discipline from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the secondary/senior secondary level preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and classroom technology.
- CBSE school experience will be an added advantage.
