Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide prospective and current students in selecting suitable academic programs and support them throughout the admission process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
* Counsel prospective students and parents regarding available courses, academic programs, and career opportunities.
* Understand students’ educational goals and recommend suitable programs based on their interests and aspirations.
* Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings in a professional and timely manner.
* Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into successful admissions.
* Assist students with the admission process, documentation, and enrollment procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and admission status.
* Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a seamless admission experience.
* Achieve monthly admission targets and contribute to the organization’s growth.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum qualification: Plus Two (Higher Secondary) or Bachelor’s Degree.
* Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and parents.
* Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, customer service, or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
