Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified TGT English Teacher to teach students in Classes VI–X. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and student-centered learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per the CBSE/State Board curriculum.
- Teach grammar, literature, writing, reading, and spoken English.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
- Use innovative teaching methods and digital learning tools.
- Prepare students for examinations, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), staff meetings, and school events.
- Maintain student records and academic reports. These responsibilities are commonly expected in TGT English teaching roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience (CBSE/ICSE preferred).
- Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and smart classroom teaching.
