Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong front-end development skills, experience with page builders, custom theme development, plugin integration, and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
- Build custom WordPress themes and child themes.
- Develop or customise WordPress plugins as required.
- Convert Figma/Adobe XD/PSD designs into pixel-perfect WordPress websites.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and marketing tools.
- Optimise website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance.
- Implement SEO best practices including schema markup, metadata, sitemap, robots.txt, and URL optimisation.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly across all devices.
- Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts, and website issues.
- Manage website security, backups, and updates.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, content writers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams.
- Maintain version control using Git.
- Ensure website accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
