Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance Manager in managing day-to-day Finance & Accounts operations.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Conduct and monitor daily revenue audits across all hotel outlets.
- Verify revenue postings from Front Office, F&B and other operating departments.
- Reconcile cash, credit card, bank and other payment transactions.
- Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities.
- Review purchase invoices, payment documents and supporting records.
- Monitor hotel income, expenses and departmental costs.
- Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.
- Assist with inventory, stock and cost-control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits.
- Coordinate with Operations, F&B, Front Office, Purchase and Stores departments.
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
- Support the Finance Manager in implementing effective internal controls and cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures and financial controls.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Finance & Accounts experience in the Hospitality / Hotel / Resort industry is mandatory.
- Candidates without hospitality/hotel experience will not be considered.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce .
- CA Inter / CMA / M.Com qualification will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting and financial controls.
- Experience with hotel PMS/POS and accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliances.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality.
