We are looking for a motivated SEO & AI Search Optimization Executive with 6 months to 1 year of experience to help improve our website's visibility on Google and AI-powered search platforms.
The candidate should have a good understanding of SEO and an interest in learning and working on AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and AI Search Optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO activities.
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis and search intent analysis.
- Optimize website content, headings, meta titles, descriptions and internal linking.
- Help improve Google search rankings and organic traffic.
- Work with WordPress websites, including basic website/content updates and SEO-related settings.
- Use relevant WordPress SEO plugins and understand their basic functionality.
- Make basic HTML edits required for SEO, such as title tags, headings, meta tags, links, image alt tags and content structure.
- Assist with website indexing, sitemap, robots.txt and Google Search Console-related tasks.
- Optimize content for AI Search and AI-generated answers.
- Learn and implement AEO and GEO strategies.
- Work on content optimization for platforms such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and website performance.
- Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to track SEO performance.
- Identify SEO issues and coordinate with the content/web team to resolve them.
- Keep up with the latest Google SEO and AI Search updates.
Requirements
- 6 Months – 1 Year of practical SEO experience.
- Basic understanding of On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO.
- Good knowledge of keyword research and search intent.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and WordPress SEO plugins.
- Basic understanding of HTML and ability to make simple SEO-related HTML changes.
- Basic understanding of AEO, GEO and AI Search Optimization is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs / SEMrush is an advantage.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new SEO and AI Search strategies.
- Freshers with strong practical SEO knowledge may also be considered.
