Position: VMC Operator
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Certification in CNC/VMC operation preferred
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience operating VMC machines
Salary:
- ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on skills and experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines.
- Perform machine setup, tool setting, and offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
- Load and unload components safely and efficiently.
- Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
- Monitor tool wear and replace cutting tools when required.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain production and inspection records.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and company procedures.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of VMC machine operations and machining processes.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with a focus on quality and productivity.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Saturday
- 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
