Job Title: Data Center Technical Lead (Service Delivery & Architecture)
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Data Center Technical Lead to drive and oversee end-to-end technical service delivery across our organization. This leadership role is accountable for managing pre-sales engineering, professional services delivery, post-sales support, and technical capability development.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern data center, networking, and cybersecurity technologies, along with proven leadership experience in System Integrator (SI) or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environments. This role requires a balance of deep technical knowledge, operational excellence, and client-facing leadership.
- Define and execute the technical services roadmap aligned with business growth and organizational objectives.
- Act as the primary technical authority for complex infrastructure and security solutions.
- Maintain deep expertise across core technology domains:
- Networking: Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Enterprise & Data Center Networks
- Security: Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), Zero Trust Architecture
- Compute & Storage: Enterprise server, virtualization, and storage platforms
- Provide technical governance, solution validation, and escalation support for critical customer engagements.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical services including implementation, integration, and managed support.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Drive operational efficiency through resource planning, utilization optimization, and delivery governance.
- Standardize processes, frameworks, and documentation to ensure scalability and repeatability.
- Ensure successful delivery of complex, multi-technology IT infrastructure projects within timelines and budgets.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, consultants, and solution architects.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development of technical teams.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, certification, and technical excellence.
- Develop structured training programs aligned with OEM technologies and business needs.
- Collaborate closely with Sales teams to support solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development.
- Present and articulate complex technical solutions to enterprise customers and stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for key clients, ensuring long-term relationship development and customer satisfaction.
- Manage strategic technical partnerships with key OEMs such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Check Point.
- Ensure alignment with OEM roadmaps, product updates, and support structures.
- Drive partner certifications, accreditations, and specializations to maintain competitive positioning.
- Experience:
- 15+ years in IT infrastructure/services, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within SI/MSP environments.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Cisco Enterprise Networking (SD-WAN, Catalyst, Nexus)
- Cisco Data Center (ACI, UCS, HyperFlex – preferred)
- Security technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point)
- Solid understanding of data center architecture, virtualization, and cloud integration.
- Leadership & Skills:
- Proven ability to lead large technical teams and manage cross-functional delivery.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.
- Experience in building scalable service delivery models and frameworks.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Master’s degree (preferred)
