Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef with 2–5 years of expertise in preparing a wide variety of vegetarian Indian dishes. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of North Indian, South Indian, and regional vegetarian cuisines, excellent cooking techniques, and the ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic vegetarian Indian dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Follow standardized recipes while maintaining food quality.
- Prepare gravies, curries, dals, breads, rice, snacks, and regional specialties.
- Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to minimize wastage.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchase team for stock requirements.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to introduce seasonal dishes and menu improvements.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine.
- Expertise in North Indian and South Indian cooking.
- Experience in preparing gravies, curries, breads, rice dishes, and traditional recipes.
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.

Key Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering establishment.
- Experience in vegetarian cuisine is mandatory.
- Diploma or Certification in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations is an advantage.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
