Job Purpose:-
The Branch Manager is responsible for managing the overall branch operations, achieving business targets, ensuring portfolio quality, maintaining regulatory compliance, leading the branch team, and delivering excellent customer service while promoting the organization's mission and values.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Business Development:-
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Increase customer acquisition in assigned operational areas.
- Expand the loan portfolio while maintaining portfolio quality.
- Identify new business opportunities and ensure market penetration.
- Develop strategies to improve branch performance.
2. Loan Operations
- Supervise the complete loan cycle, including customer sourcing, verification, approval coordination, disbursement, and collection.
- Ensure proper customer verification and documentation.
- Monitor loan utilization and end-use verification.
- Ensure timely loan disbursement as per company guidelines.
3. Portfolio & Collection Management
- Maintain high portfolio quality and control delinquency.
- Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely recovery.
- Reduce PAR (Portfolio at Risk), overdue cases, and write-offs.
- Take corrective actions for high-risk accounts.
4. Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the branch staff.
- Allocate daily responsibilities to employees.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Coach employees on sales, collections, customer handling, and company policies.
- Ensure discipline and professional behavior within the branch.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with customers and community members.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Ensure fair treatment of customers as per RBI and company guidelines.
- Promote customer retention and satisfaction.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, company policies, and internal SOPs.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.
- Ensure KYC, AML, and audit compliance.
- Support internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Report any fraud, operational risk, or policy violations immediately.
7. Cash & Asset Management
- Ensure proper cash handling and security.
- Monitor branch expenses within approved budgets.
- Maintain branch assets and infrastructure.
- Verify cash, stationery, and fixed assets regularly.
8. Administration
- Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations.
- Maintain employee attendance and leave records.
- Coordinate with Head Office and other departments.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports accurately and on time.
9. Training & Employee Development
- Identify training needs of employees.
- Conduct on-the-job coaching.
- Support new employee induction and field training.
- Build a high-performance branch team.
10. Safety & Security
- Ensure branch security arrangements.
- Protect company assets and confidential information.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during field operations.
Pay: ₹26,500.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month
