Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mould Designer. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating 2D and 3D mould designs, preparing manufacturing drawings, and working closely with production and tool room teams to ensure timely and accurate mould development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design plastic injection moulds using SolidWorks (2D & 3D).
- Develop complete mould assemblies, detailed part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Prepare manufacturing and detailing drawings for tool room activities.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to improve mould efficiency and production performance.
- Coordinate with production, tool room, and quality teams during mould development and trials.
- Modify existing mould designs based on customer requirements or production improvements.
- Ensure designs meet quality, functionality, and manufacturing standards.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of design-related issues during mould manufacturing and testing.
- Maintain proper documentation and design records.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (2D & 3D Modelling).
- Good knowledge of injection mould design and mould construction.
- Understanding of mould components, cooling systems, gating systems, and ejection mechanisms.
- Ability to prepare detailed engineering drawings and BOM.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in injection mould design.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
