Sales Leadership
- Drive end-to-end sales lifecycle for Black Masterbatch and allied product ranges including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Develop and execute a robust territory-wise sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and develop new accounts across plastics processing industries including packaging, pipes, films, automotive, agriculture, and consumer goods.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide accurate demand forecasting and pipeline reporting to management.
Marketing & Business Development
- Conduct market research to identify new segments, applications, and geographies for Black Masterbatch and specialty products.
- Develop value propositions, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies tailored to specific customer segments.
- Coordinate with R&D and product development teams to align product innovations with market needs and trends.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, and customer events.
- Create and manage marketing collateral including product brochures, technical data sheets, and digital content.
Technical & Customer Support
- Provide technical guidance and application support to customers during product trials, troubleshooting, and scale-up.
- Collaborate with the technical team to address customer complaints and deliver prompt resolutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of raw material trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Provide periodic reports on sales performance, market intelligence, and competitive activity to senior management.
- Coordinate with production planning and supply chain to ensure timely order fulfillment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Polymer Science, Plastics Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- An MBA or equivalent qualification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the Masterbatch, Compounding, or Specialty Chemicals industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Hands-on experience specifically with Black Masterbatch products is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to multiple end-use markets such as packaging, films, pipes, wires & cables, or injection molding is desirable.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of masterbatch manufacturing processes, carbon black grades, and polymer carrier systems.
- Familiarity with quality standards, colour matching, and application-specific performance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite; experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and customer-centricity.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, site inspections, and industry events.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
