Job Summary
The Runner is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages from the kitchen to guests' tables. The role supports smooth restaurant operations by assisting service staff, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt service.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood & Beverage Service
- Collect food orders from the kitchen and deliver them promptly to the correct tables.
- Verify order details before serving to ensure accuracy.
- Assist Captains and Stewards during peak service hours.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding special instructions and order modifications.
- Serve food and beverages as directed by the service team.
Guest Service
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and friendly attitude towards guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
- Ensure guest tables are properly set and maintained.
Operational Support
- Assist in clearing tables and resetting them for incoming guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and pantry sections.
- Ensure all service equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are properly handled and stored.
- Support restaurant opening and closing duties.
Hygiene & Safety
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Adhere to company grooming and uniform policies.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or breakages to supervisors immediately.
- Comply with all restaurant policies and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or food service establishment is preferred.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.

- Basic understanding of restaurant service standards.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.

Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, lifting trays, and carrying food items.
Salary Range: As per company policy and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
