Key Responsibilities
Provide mechanical engineering support for FPSO operations and offshore production facilities.
Monitor operational performance of rotating and static equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, valves, and utility systems.
Support day-to-day operations, shutdown planning, maintenance coordination, and troubleshooting activities.
Review equipment health, maintenance records, and operational data to improve reliability and availability.
Coordinate with offshore teams, OEMs, vendors, and support contractors for maintenance and technical issues.
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support spare parts planning, inventory management, and procurement activities.
Assist in developing maintenance strategies, SOPs, operational procedures, and reliability improvement initiatives.
Participate in offshore visits as required for audits, shutdowns, commissioning, troubleshooting, or operational support.
Support integrity management and inspection activities for mechanical systems. Interface with multidisciplinary teams including Production, Marine, Maintenance, Process, and HSE departments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
2–15 years of relevant experience in Offshore Oil & Gas, FPSO, Offshore Production Platforms, or Floating Production facilities.
Experience in operations support, maintenance, or reliability engineering for offshore facilities.
Good understanding of rotating equipment, static equipment, piping systems, and utilities. Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of offshore safety standards, PTW systems, and HSE practices.
Experience in troubleshooting and operational support for offshore assets.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment. Preferred Experience Prior FPSO operational experience preferred.
Exposure to shutdown planning and offshore campaigns.
Knowledge of reliability engineering and condition monitoring techniques.
Experience working with international offshore operators or EPC companies.
Familiarity with API, ASME, ISO, and offshore engineering standards.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
