Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for our construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, quality control, and timely completion of MEP activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP activities at project sites.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams for smooth execution of MEP works.
- Identify and resolve design and site-related issues in coordination with stakeholders.
Project Execution & Monitoring
- Plan, schedule, and monitor MEP installations and commissioning activities.
- Ensure timely completion of MEP works as per project schedules.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
Quality Assurance & Safety
- Ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Implement quality control procedures and maintain quality records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies.
Cost Control & Documentation
- Verify contractor bills and work measurements.
- Monitor material consumption and control wastage.
- Prepare and maintain progress reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, estimation, and cost control of MEP works.
Testing & Commissioning
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure successful handover of systems with all required documentation.
- Address snag lists and ensure timely closure before project handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in MEP execution and coordination in construction or real estate projects.
- Experience in commercial, residential, high-rise, industrial, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and ELV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian standards, NBC, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under project deadlines.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
- Experience in contractor management and billing verification.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and industry standards.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
