Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, payroll entries, and monthly closing activities.
- Prepare and review GST/HST/PST filings for Canadian provinces.
- Assist with year-end financials, working papers, and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with Canadian clients to gather financial information, clarify queries, and provide status updates.
- Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and GL reviews.
- Maintain documentation and working papers in accordance with Canadian standards.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks based on service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for better efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across accounting, tax, and compliance functions.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or KPO/outsourcing environment.
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and sales tax (GST/HST/PST) preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, Excel, and other cloud accounting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple clients and manage deadlines effectively.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving approach.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting CPA firms or accounting practices in Canada and the US
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA / Inter CA, ACCA, or equivalent (preferred)
- Additional certifications in bookkeeping or taxation will be an advantage
- Strong academic foundation in accounting principles, taxation, and financial management

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
