Job Overview
Nedisha Group is looking for a Service & Mechanical Engineer to handle installation, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of woodworking and wood finishing machinery. The candidate will be required to travel to customer sites across India for machine installation, commissioning and service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission woodworking and wood finishing machines at customer sites.
- Provide service, maintenance and troubleshooting support.
- Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues in machinery.
- Attend customer complaints and resolve machine-related problems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and machine inspections.
- Guide customers on proper machine operation and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the technical team for complex service issues.
- Prepare service reports after site visits.
- Maintain records of machine installation, service and spare parts requirements.
- Travel Pan India for installation, commissioning and service assignments.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned service jobs.
- Follow all safety procedures during installation and servicing.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery and tools.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems will be an advantage.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Candidates with experience in industrial machinery, woodworking machinery, CNC, automation or machine servicing will be preferred.
Salary & Benefits
₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.
Additional travel/site-related allowances may be provided as per company policy.
