Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our CT/PT Transformer manufacturing team. The candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure quality products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and on time. Fresh graduates with a strong technical foundation and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of CT/PT transformers as per production plans.
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
- Ensure proper use of machines, tools, and production equipment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Identify production issues and report them to senior engineers for timely resolution.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure 5S, housekeeping, and workplace safety are maintained in the production area.
- Learn and support testing, inspection, and quality checks of CT/PT transformers.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and production documentation.
- Familiarity with quality concepts and manufacturing practices.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and learn new processes.
Preferred Knowledge
- Basics of Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT).
- Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts.
- Electrical testing and inspection fundamentals.
- ERP knowledge (preferred but not mandatory).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
