Job Title: Manager IT & Infra
Location: Bengaluru - Whitefield
Role Overview
Hands-on technical lead responsible for network infrastructure, Linux systems, internal IT operations, and client-facing project delivery. Will manage a team of 2–3 engineers, act as architecture owner, and serve as a technical point of contact for external clients.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Security
- Design and manage routers, switches, firewalls (traditional & next-gen)
- Implement VPNs, VLANs, routing, NAT, and security policies
Internal IT
- Manage internal network, firewall, and servers
- Oversee endpoint provisioning and security
- Maintain documentation and backup processes
Linux Systems
- Configure and maintain Linux servers
- Optimize performance, storage, networking, and monitoring
- Ensure OS hardening, patching, and system reliability
Client Engagement & Project Delivery
- Act as a technical point of contact for external clients, managing relationships and expectations
- Support pre-sales activities including technical input for tenders, RFPs, and proposals
- Prepare solution designs, BOMs, and effort estimates for client bids
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for client infrastructure engagements
Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor 2–3 engineers
- Define infra standards, security baselines, and deployment processes
- Drive automation and operational efficiency
Required Skills
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs)
- Advanced Linux administration
- Experience with distributed systems / edge deployments
- Firewall configuration experience
- Monitoring and observability systems experience
- Automation/config management (e.g., Ansible or similar)
- Client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience contributing to technical proposals, RFPs, and tender responses
- Project management skills with ability to manage timelines, scope, and deliverables
- Team leadership experience
Experience
- 8+ years experience
- Background in infra-heavy product company / MSP / system integrator
- Prior experience leading small teams
- Track record of managing client relationships and delivering infrastructure projects
- Exposure to pre-sales or bid support processes

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
