Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in Commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain / Any relevant field.
- Certification in Import Export Management (preferred).
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in import-export documentation or logistics.
Job Summary:
The Import Export Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing all documentation related to international shipments. The role ensures compliance with customs regulations, smooth clearance of goods, and timely coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify export and import documentation such as:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Shipping Bills and other customs documents
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and shipping lines.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs laws.
- Track shipment status and update internal teams and clients regularly.
- Handle documentation for LC (Letter of Credit) and bank-related processes.
- Maintain proper records of all import-export transactions.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and shipment delays.
- Liaise with government authorities, customs departments, and port officials when required.
- Ensure timely submission of documents to avoid penalties or delays.
Skills & Requirements:
- Good knowledge of import-export procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and DGFT guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills
