Required Skill Set
AWS Infrastructure
Strong hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting AWS infrastructure services including EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, AMIs, EBS volumes, VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Site-to-Site VPN, Route 53, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB). Good understanding of cloud networking, infrastructure deployment, and day-to-day operational support.
AWS Storage, Database & Backup Services
Experience supporting Amazon S3, AWS Backup, Amazon RDS environments. Understanding of backup and recovery operations, database monitoring, basic performance management, storage administration, and operational maintenance activities.
AWS Monitoring, Security & Governance
Hands-on experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, IAM, and KMS. Good understanding of AWS security best practices, monitoring, logging, compliance controls, vulnerability management, and operational governance.
AWS Native DevOps & Deployment Automation
Good hands-on experience supporting AWS native DevOps services including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECR, ECS/EKS, and deployment automation across development, testing, and production environments. Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, release deployments, rollback activities, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container deployments, and operational troubleshooting.
CI/CD, Jenkins & Source Code Management
Basic to intermediate experience supporting Jenkins pipelines, automated build and release processes, deployment workflows, and CI/CD operations. Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, including repository management, branching strategies, pull requests, version control, and deployment troubleshooting.
Automation, Containers & DevOps Operations
Basic to intermediate exposure to Shell Scripting, Python, YAML, Terraform , Amazon ECS, and Amazon EKS. Ability to support deployment automation, containerized workloads, pipeline
troubleshooting, release validation, and collaborate with application, development, and cloud operations teams to ensure successful service delivery.

AWS Infrastructure Operations
Provision, manage, monitor, and support AWS infrastructure services ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence.
DevOps Operations
Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, release management, and automation initiatives utilizing AWS native DevOps services and Jenkins.
Monitoring & Incident Management
Manage alerts, investigate incidents, perform troubleshooting, coordinate resolution activities, and support RCA preparation.
Security & Compliance
Support implementation and monitoring of security controls, vulnerability findings, operational governance, and compliance requirements.
Customer Support & Managed Services
Interact with internal and customer teams, participate in troubleshooting calls, maintain documentation, and deliver operational support within managed service environments.
Soft Skills
Communication
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and participate in customer discussions when required.
Documentation & SOP Adherence
Ability to follow, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.
Team Collaboration
Ability to work effectively with cloud engineers, DevOps teams, application teams, and customer stakeholders in a Managed Services environment.
