Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced BY WMS Technical Consultant / Development Lead for an Assistant Manager role. The candidate will be responsible for end to end WMS technical delivery, hands on development, solution design, and leading a team of developers. This role requires strong expertise in Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS along with the ability to drive quality, performance, and timely delivery across projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, and enhancement of Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS solutions including MOCA, Page Builder, Reports, Labels, and Integrations
- Own technical solutioning for inbound, outbound, inventory, and RF workflows
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and performant WMS designs
- Provide hands on development using Java / C / MOCA / SQL
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and drive best practices and reusability
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design decisions
- Mentor and guide junior developers perform technical reviews and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate with functional consultants, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
- Support system configuration, deployments, upgrades, and production issue resolution
- Ensure performance, scalability, stability, and security of WMS solutions
- Assist in project planning, effort estimation, and delivery commitments
- Strong hands on experience in Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS development
- MOCA, Page Builder, Reports, Integrator, Labels
- Proficiency in Java and/or C based WMS frameworks
- Solid expertise in MOCA commands, extensions, triggers, and workflows
- Strong SQL / Oracle / DB2 database skills
- Experience with RF screen development and warehouse device integration
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/version control, and build tools
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience in 3PL / Retail warehouse implementations
- Blue Yonder WMS upgrade or cloud migration experience
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations
- Exposure to automation testing or framework-based validation
- Experience working in global onsite–offshore delivery models
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Warehouse Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
- Strong understanding of application development methodologies.
- Experience with system integration and data migration processes.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in BlueYonder Warehouse Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
