Role: Lead Engineer Pipeline
Location: Vadodara
Education Qualification
- Minimum: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred: M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Required
- 13 to 23 years of relevant experience in Pipeline Engineering.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities
- Perform consequential assessment and prepare corrective action plans.
- Anticipate project challenges and proactively update clients.
- Monitor engineering quality and identify corrective actions when required.
- Update and create engineering policies and procedures to improve efficiency and adapt to new market requirements.
- Participate in monthly project review meetings to track ongoing project status.
- Participate in monthly forecasting sessions and update management on resource requirements.
- Provide monthly reports on engineering staffing, training, assignments, and goal completion.
Shared Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to optimize design interfaces.
- Support and implement departmental quality management programs.
- Provide technical guidance to team members.
- Assist in developing engineering budget estimates for work-share projects.
- Support hiring, training, and mentoring activities.
- Ensure training programs are conducted to keep teams updated on the latest technologies and procedures.
- Work closely with project teams to establish annual goals and initiatives.
- Maintain high competency levels and deliver exceptional quality.
- Continuously assess staffing requirements and take necessary actions to meet project needs.
Key Result Area (KRA)
- Manage Pipeline Engineering activities as per project requirements while ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Technical Skills
- Continuous improvement in design tools, engineering efficiency, and quality of deliverables.
- Advance the technical knowledge base of the team and contribute towards building a center of excellence.
