Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of production equipment, pipelines, tanks, and structural components to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Stainless Steel (SS) and Mild Steel (MS) welding using appropriate welding techniques.
Fabricate, repair, and modify plant equipment, conveyors, pipelines, tanks, and machine components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance welding jobs.
Ensure high-quality welds that meet safety and quality standards.
Inspect welded joints and repair defects when required.
Follow welding safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to minimize machine downtime.
Maintain welding tools, machines, and consumables in good working condition.
Keep records of maintenance and fabrication work completed.
Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or a related trade.
Certification in welding is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial welding.
Mandatory hands-on experience in Stainless Steel (SS) and Mild Steel (MS) welding.
Experience in the beverage, FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Skills Required
TIG, MIG, and Arc Welding.
Fabrication and maintenance skills.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Knowledge of welding safety standards.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in shifts and under maintenance schedules.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹35,788.89 per month
