About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimation Engineer to join our infrastructure engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, tender documents, project cost analyses, and client billing for road, highway, bridge, railway bridge, and other infrastructure projects. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for road, highway, bridge, railway bridge, and related infrastructure projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Develop Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and Draft Tender Documents (DTPs).
- Conduct rate analysis, cost analysis, and budgeting for project activities.
- Prepare comparative statements and cost optimization reports.
- Verify and measure executed quantities for roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and associated civil works.
- Maintain records of drawings, approvals, estimates, correspondence, and contract documents.
Tendering & Contract Management
- Review tender documents, contract conditions, technical specifications, and project scope.
- Participate in tender evaluation and bid preparation activities.
- Prepare commercial and technical submissions for infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements.
Billing & Coordination
- Handle client billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
- Review and process sub-consultant billing and related documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders regarding technical and commercial matters.
- Support project teams in resolving estimation, costing, and billing-related issues.
Project Support
- Provide cost inputs during project planning, execution, and monitoring stages.
- Track project costs and identify opportunities for cost control and optimization.
- Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records for future reference.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, industry standards, and project specifications.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, and Quantity Take-Off.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, DPR preparation, and Tender Documentation.
- Knowledge of Tender Evaluation for Road, Highway, Bridge, and Railway Bridge Projects.
- Proficiency in Rate Analysis, Cost Analysis, and Budgeting.
- Experience in Client Billing and Sub-Consultant Billing.
- Strong understanding of Government and Private Infrastructure Projects.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, MORTH Specifications, and relevant engineering standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software/tools.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
