Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Assistant cum Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day administrative operations while handling accounting and financial documentation.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, trustworthy, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration
- Manage daily office administration and coordination.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Maintain company records, files, and documentation.
- Prepare quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and official letters.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain office supplies and vendor relationships.
- Support HR with recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
- Ensure proper filing of contracts and project documents.
Accounts & Finance
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare customer invoices and supplier payment schedules.
- Follow up on customer receivables and outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash transactions.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.
- Coordinate with external Chartered Accountant and auditors.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
Procurement Support
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and purchase orders.
- Track material deliveries and vendor invoices.
- Maintain procurement documentation and inventory records.
General Office Support
- Assist management with reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Support different departments as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting and office administration.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles.
- Experience in office administration is preferred.
Software Skills
Candidates should have experience with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook
- Tally Prime (Preferred)
- Zoho Books or similar accounting software (Preferred)
- Google Workspace
