Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading and managing all non-academic functions in the Schools. The scope of responsibilities covers School financial results (revenues, pupils number, staff costs, operational costs, cash flow, capital expenditure), legal compliance, facility and asset management, and team management.
Responsibilities
1. Transport Management
Oversee the smooth functioning of the school's transportation system, ensuring safe and timely pick-up and drop-off of students and staff.
Coordinate vehicle schedules, route planning, driver deployment, maintenance, fuel management, and statutory documentation.
Monitor transport safety standards, address parent concerns, and ensure compliance with all transport regulations.
2. Food Services Management
Supervise the planning, preparation, and distribution of nutritious, hygienic, and balanced meals for students and staff.
Ensure food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, vendor quality, and inventory management are consistently maintained.
Regularly review menus, monitor food quality, and coordinate with nutritionists, kitchen staff, and vendors for continuous improvement.
3. Budgeting and Financial Control
Prepare and monitor annual operational budgets for all administrative and facility-related functions.
Track expenditures, analyse cost trends, and implement measures to optimise operational efficiency without compromising quality.
Present financial reports, forecast future requirements, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
4. Purchase and Procurement
Plan and oversee the procurement of school supplies, equipment, furniture, and operational resources.
Identify reliable vendors, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
Maintain procurement records, inventory levels, and ensure purchases comply with organisational policies.
5. Housekeeping Management
Ensure all school premises, classrooms, offices, washrooms, and common areas are clean, hygienic, and well maintained.
Develop housekeeping schedules, conduct regular inspections, and ensure high standards of cleanliness across all campuses.
Coordinate deep cleaning, waste management, pest control, and maintenance requirements.
6. Support Staff Management
Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, drivers, maintenance personnel, office assistants, and other support teams.
Allocate duties, prepare work schedules, provide training, and ensure productivity and discipline among support staff.
Foster a positive work environment while ensuring efficient service delivery across all operational areas.
7. Security Management
Oversee campus security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Manage security personnel, visitor management systems, emergency response procedures, CCTV monitoring, and access control.
Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and safety drills to strengthen campus preparedness.
8. Compliance and Regulatory Management
Ensure the school complies with all statutory, legal, health, safety, labour, fire, transport, and education-related regulations.
Maintain licences, permits, insurance records, vendor agreements, and statutory documentation within validity periods.
Coordinate inspections, audits, and corrective actions while ensuring adherence to organisational policies and government requirements.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
