SCM Head : We are looking for SCM for Cable / Conductor Manufacturing Industry
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 15+ Years
CTC – 25.00 LPA – 30.00 LPA
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall Supply Chain Management operations including procurement coordination, dispatch, warehousing, and logistics.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished goods to customers across regions.
- Handle transportation planning, freight management, and logistics vendor coordination.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Develop and implement SCM strategies for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with production, sales, procurement, and planning teams for smooth business operations.
- Manage warehouse operations, stock reconciliation, and material movement processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and safety standards.
- Analyze logistics and dispatch KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.
- Build strong relationships with transporters, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Handle team management, workforce planning, and operational supervision of SCM functions.
- Ensure proper documentation related to dispatch, invoicing, e-way bills, and shipment tracking.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Dispatch, and Logistics Operations. Mandatory experience in the Cable or Conductor Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong understanding of dispatch planning, transportation management, and warehouse operations. Experience in handling large-scale logistics and supply chain activities.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management, and MIS reporting.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operational deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and team handling capabilities.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate / Engineer preferred.
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain Management or Operations will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
