Cardiac Technician – Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Technician to perform and assist in non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures including ECG, TMT, and Echocardiography (ECHO). The candidate should ensure accurate testing, patient comfort, and timely reporting support.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) procedures accurately.
- Conduct Treadmill Test (TMT)/Stress Test procedures under physician supervision.
- Assist in performing 2D Echo/Echocardiography procedures.
- Prepare patients before procedures and explain the testing process.
- Monitor patient condition during cardiac procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and patient records.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of cardiac equipment.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and diagnostic teams for smooth workflow.
- Handle emergency situations during cardiac procedures if required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Cardiac Care Technology or relevant allied health science field.
- Experience in handling ECG, TMT, and ECHO procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiac diagnostic equipment and patient monitoring.
- Good communication and patient handling skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts if required.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of cardiac abnormalities and reporting assistance.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recordings.
- Team-oriented and patient-friendly approach.
Experience
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
- Prior experience in diagnostic centers or hospitals is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
