About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our admissions team. The primary responsibility is to counsel students and parents over phone calls, understand their career aspirations, and guide them in selecting the right college and course. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and a passion for helping students build their future.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound and inbound counselling calls with students and parents.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, and career goals.
- Guide students regarding undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as MBA, B.TECH, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc, Pharmacy, Nursing, Diploma, and other professional programs.
- Recommend suitable colleges based on eligibility, budget, location, and career objectives.
- Explain admission processes, scholarships, fee structures, and placement opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective students until admission is completed.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and update CRM regularly.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and partner colleges.
- Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams for smooth student onboarding.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle objections and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Comfortable making 80–150+ calls per day.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PG preferred but not mandatory).
- 0–5 years of experience in Education Counselling, Inside Sales, Telecalling, Business Development, or Admissions.
- Freshers with exceptional communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
