Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, staff performance, and profitability. This role includes managing the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, driving revenue, and maintaining brand standards to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily restaurant operations including staff supervision, customer service, and overall ambiance.
- Hire, train, and develop restaurant staff to maintain a high-performance team.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, and presentation to meet company and regulatory standards.
- Handle customer concerns and feedback with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
- Plan and implement cost control measures to improve profitability (inventory, waste, labor, etc.).
- Manage vendor relationships, supply orders, and stock control.
- Analyze sales reports, set revenue targets, and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records for payroll, expenses, and operational reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or Business Administration preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
