Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused home appliance service engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain home appliances at customer locations and service centers. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of household appliances and provide timely service support while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair home appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, microwave ovens, TVs, water purifiers, and other electronic appliances.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve complaints within the assigned timeline.
- Perform installation and demonstration of products at customer locations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of appliances.
- Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate with the service team for replacements.
- Maintain service records, job sheets, and customer feedback reports.
- Ensure proper handling and safety standards during repair and installation activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product usage and maintenance.
- Achieve service targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate with the service center and reporting manager regarding daily activities and pending calls.
Required Skills:
- Good technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
- Ability to handle field service activities independently.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of service reporting through mobile apps/software.
- Time management and problem-solving abilities.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
- Certification in appliance repair/service is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in home appliance repair and servicing.
- Freshers with technical qualifications may also apply.
Preferred Requirements:
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
- Willingness to travel for field service activities.
- Ability to work under pressure and attend emergency service calls.
