Job Summary
The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives related to new product launches (NPLs), point-of-sale materials (POSM), branding assets, retail visibility, and marketing audits. The role ensures timely deployment of marketing materials, effective asset management, compliance with national campaign guidelines, and accurate reporting to support brand visibility and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities1. New Product Launch (NPL) & POSM Management
- Review national campaign (NC) guidelines and analyze marketing requirements for each new product launch.
- Coordinate with zonal sales teams to collect POSM requirements and prepare consolidated requests.
- Track POSM production, printing, warehouse coordination, and dispatch to ensure timely availability.
- Ensure 100% deployment of POSM materials as per campaign timelines and brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for smooth campaign execution.
2. Campaign Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate with the National Campaign (NC) team regarding audit schedules, timelines, and checkpoints.
- Educate and guide the sales team to complete campaign audits within the stipulated timelines.
- Conduct local campaign audits through the V-Work application for regional marketing activities.
- Monitor campaign compliance and recommend corrective actions wherever required.
3. Marketing Reports & Analysis
- Prepare and maintain daily and periodic marketing reports, including:
- Deployment Tracker
- NC Deployment Tracker
- Campaign One-Pager & Video Updates
- Campaign Expense Report
- Market Insight Report
- Ensure timely submission of reports with accurate data and actionable insights.
4. Branding Asset Management
- Coordinate the planning and installation of X-Zones and other retail branding assets.
- Follow up with the sales team to achieve branding targets and ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with vendors for site surveys (recce), design approvals, fabrication, and installation.
- Collect and process required legal documents (such as stamp paper agreements) for submission to the Head Office and National Campaign team.
5. Asset Database & Maintenance
- Maintain an updated master database of all branding assets across the assigned region.
- Collect monthly asset details from the sales team and verify data accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the condition and visibility of company branding assets.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for warranty and non-warranty fixtures with the National Campaign team and Head Office.
- Ensure branding assets remain functional, well-maintained, and compliant with company standards.
6. Retail Branding Achievement
- Track and monitor monthly achievements for Vivo Zones, signages, and other retail branding initiatives.
- Coordinate with the sales team to achieve monthly branding targets.
- Identify gaps in execution and initiate corrective actions to improve retail visibility.
