AMER - NSM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amer S.p.A., Italy (www.amer.it/en), a globally recognized manufacturer of high-performance electrical components, founded in 1974 is hiring for a a dynamic and hands-on Product Support Engineer with experience in the electronics domain, who can effectively support the company’s growing after-sales service needs across India.
The role requires field service, dealer support, technical troubleshooting, installation guidance, the ability to interface with OEM customers and service partners and proactive customer engagement to ensure optimal product performance and satisfaction.
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Head: New Product Development & Product Support
Location: Dhayari, Pune
Budget: 8-10 LPA
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customer complaints, analyze issues, and ensure resolution within committed timelines.
- Provide installation support, troubleshooting, and onsite repair services for alternators, DC motors, controllers, and related components.
- Handle both electrical and electronics-based service tasks.
- Design and suggest improvements in power electronic components and control systems (preferred).
- Build and maintain a strong network of service dealers and partners across assigned regions.
- Train dealers, OEM customers, and internal teams on proper usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Provide customer service reports, maintain service records, and update documentation (product/service manuals, part catalogues, SOPs).
- Coordinate with sales and product teams for continuous product improvement based on customer feedback.
- Report repeat complaints, key issues, and customer concerns to management.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and uphold ISO 9001:2015 service quality standards.
- Travel pan-India (as instructed) for on-site support, audits, or installations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics – Mandatory
- Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and wiring layouts.
- Exposure to Power Electronics and Controllers – preferred.
- Prior experience in a technical service role (preferred: B2B/ industrial OEM setup).
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per year
